Events with approval

Some events are reviewed by the organiser before registrations are confirmed. This page explains how approval works and what happens if your registration is not approved.

When an event requires approval, submitting your registration does not confirm it. The organiser reviews each registration and decides whether to approve or reject it. Your registration shows a Pending status until that decision is made.

  1. Register as usual. Open the event page and complete the registration form as described in Register for an event.
  2. Expect a pending status. After you submit, the event page and your registration under My registrations show Registration pending approval.
  3. Wait for the organiser’s decision. You receive an email once the organiser reviews your registration — nothing else is needed from you.

Your status changes from Pending to confirmed, and you receive a confirmation email with a link to your ticket. From then on, your registration works like any other — see Register for an event for what happens next.

When an organiser rejects a registration, you receive a Registration not approved email. In the app, your registration shows a Not approved status instead of a ticket.

The organiser’s decision is final on the platform. If you believe the rejection is a mistake, or you want to understand the reason, contact the organiser directly — their contact details are shown for the event.
