Cancel or refund a registration

Sometimes you register for an event and later cannot attend. This page explains how cancellation works on Pulse and what refund rules apply — including what depends on the organiser of each event.

How you cancel depends on the event. Each organiser sets the policy for their own events, so the option you see varies from event to event.

  1. Open My registrations. Go to https://pulse-ucare.my/events?tab=registrations and find the registration you want to cancel.
  2. Look for a cancel option. Open the registration or the event page and check whether a cancel option is available. If it is, follow it and confirm.
  3. No cancel option? Contact the organiser. When an event does not offer self-cancellation, the organiser can cancel your registration for you. Use the organiser contact details shown for the event — for example on the event page or in the confirmation email — and ask for the cancellation.

Once a registration is cancelled, its status changes to Cancelled and it no longer counts towards the event’s capacity.

Occasionally an organiser cancels or postpones an event. You receive an email about it, and the event page shows a Cancelled or Postponed status. Your registration is marked as cancelled as well.

For a postponed event, check the event page for the new date. For a cancelled event, contact the organiser about your options — for example a refund or a transfer to another event.

Refund rules are set by the organiser of each event and differ between events. Pulse does not apply a single refund policy to all paid events.

  • Some events refund the full fee if you cancel by a certain date.
  • Others do not refund cancelled registrations at all.
  • An event cancelled by the organiser usually qualifies for a refund, but the process and timing are the organiser’s to set.

If a refund matters to you, check the event’s terms and the organiser’s policy before you register or pay, and ask the organiser directly when you are unsure.
