Paid events & payment

Some Pulse events charge a fee. This page explains how payment works for paid events, how your payment is confirmed, and what to do if it is not.

When an event is paid, each ticket type shows its price, for example RM 20.00. The order summary adds up your total before you submit — a promo code can lower it if the organiser issued one.

An event with no fee shows Free instead of a price, and no payment is needed.

  1. Submit your registration. Fill in the registration form as usual and submit it.
  2. Complete your payment on the secure payment page. For events with online payment, Pulse opens the payment page in a new tab right after you submit.
  3. Return to Pulse. Your registration is confirmed once the payment goes through, and your ticket is activated.

Not every paid event has online payment. When an event does not, the organiser shares payment instructions after you submit — for example a bank account to transfer to. Your registration stays on Payment required until the organiser confirms the money arrived.

Once your payment is confirmed, your registration updates to Paid under My registrations at https://pulse-ucare.my/events?tab=registrations, and you receive a confirmation email with a link to your ticket.

If you need a receipt or invoice — for example to claim the fee from your department — ask the organiser whether one is available and how they issue it.

Check the status of your registration under My registrations:

  • Online payment — if your registration still shows Payment required with a Pay Now button, the payment did not complete. Finish the payment to keep your seat.
  • Manual bank transfer — if you transferred the fee but your registration still shows Payment required, the organiser may not have confirmed it yet. Contact the organiser with your transfer details.

A registration that stays unpaid may have its seat released to other participants, depending on the event’s policy. If you change your mind about paying, see Cancel or refund a registration.
