Certificate templates & publish
Pulse lets you issue e-certificates to participants after your event. You create a certificate template for the event, then publish it when the event is done. Eligible participants can then download their certificate.
This guide covers creating, publishing, and managing certificate templates from the organiser dashboard.
Create a certificate template
Section titled “Create a certificate template”- Open the event dashboard. Sign in at https://pulse-ucare.my, open your event page, and go to its dashboard.
- Open the certificates area. Find the certificate or certificates tab in the dashboard.
- Create a template. Choose to create a new template for this event.
- Design the certificate. Set the layout and appearance of the certificate.
- Add the fields. Include the fields you want shown, such as the participant’s name, the event name, and the date.
- Save the template. The template is saved for this event. It is not visible to participants yet.
Publish the template
Section titled “Publish the template”Publish the template after the event finishes so eligible participants can download their certificates.
- Open the certificates area in the event dashboard.
- Publish the template. Choose the publish option for your saved template.
- Check who is eligible. Only eligible participants receive certificates. Eligibility depends on how you set up the event, for example confirming attendance at check-in.
Once published, eligible participants see and download their certificate from their Pulse account.
Edit a published template
Section titled “Edit a published template”You can edit a template after publishing. Be aware that changes can affect certificates that were already issued or downloaded.
Review the template carefully before you publish. If you must edit it after publishing, tell participants, because certificates they already downloaded may not match the updated version.
