Check-in at the venue

This page is for participants. It explains what happens when you arrive at the venue, so you can get through check-in quickly.

Check in when you arrive

Arrive at the check-in counter. Follow the signs at the venue to the registration or check-in area for your event.
Open your ticket. Open the ticket link in your confirmation email, find it under My registrations in the Pulse app, or open your pass in the Google Wallet app. All three show the same QR code.
Show your QR code to the staff. Hold your phone screen steady and let the venue staff scan it.
Wait for confirmation. The scanner shows when your check-in succeeds, and you are cleared to enter.

If your QR code does not load or the scan fails:

Check your connection. Move to a spot with better signal or reconnect to Wi-Fi.
Try the confirmation email. Your confirmation email contains a link to your ticket.
Contact the organiser. If the ticket still will not open, the venue staff can put you in touch with the event organiser, who confirms your registration on their side.

Check-in records your attendance for the event. The organiser uses the attendance record to decide who is eligible for the event certificate.
