Pre and post questionnaires
Some events ask you to answer a questionnaire before the event and again after it. Organisers use the answers to report on the programme and to issue certificates. The same set of questions is used both times, so you will recognise them.
When each questionnaire opens
Section titled “When each questionnaire opens”- Pre-event is available from the moment your registration is confirmed.
- Post-event opens five minutes before the event ends, or sooner if you have already attended every session that is required for the certificate. The two versions share one set of questions, so you answer the same items twice.
Answer a questionnaire
Section titled “Answer a questionnaire”- Open the event page. The questionnaire card sits with your other event actions. Your ticket page also shows a shortcut while a questionnaire is still pending.
- Tap Complete Pre-Event Questionnaire (or Post-Event once it has opened). The button label changes with the version that is open.
- Answer every item and submit. You can answer at your own pace. Progress is saved to your registration, not to the form on your screen, so nothing is lost if you close the page.
- Check the label. When a version is done, the card reads Completed and the button stays inactive. That is the record the organiser sees.
Why the answers matter
Section titled “Why the answers matter”Answers are matched to your ticket code, which is how the organiser pairs what you said before the event with what you said after it. Skipping an item means the pair cannot be counted. Your answers are visible to the organiser and their team, not to other attendees.
If the questionnaire is missing
Section titled “If the questionnaire is missing”A questionnaire only exists for events that use one. If you open a questionnaire link and Pulse says it cannot find the form, the organiser has not opened one for that event, or has closed it while you had the page open. Contact the organiser through the event page.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Certificate eligibility — what else the certificate needs
- Register for an event — registration and what comes after it
- Contact the Pulse office — reach a person when something is wrong
